Puzzle #224 solution:
Capablanca - Corzo, 11th game of the match, Havana 1901. Black has a Queen for a Knight and Bishop, but nothing else. All White pieces are nicely placed and ready for a final assault. The f7-pawn is a thorn in Black's position and it forces Black to take care of it first; meantime the White pieces will attack decisively. The analysis was more or less good for all solvers, while the attack was not. It is interesting to remember there were no computers available in those days, making the combination so much more valuable. Here is the correct solution:
