Puzzle of the week #179

Most of the long mates available from different sources have happened in games from the early days of modern chess (19th Century). There was a time when the attack was the only important aspect of the game, each player doing everything to get to the opponent's King at any costs. There are several memorable games where one side (White the majority of time) performed a brilliant attack, including spectacular sacrifices to destroy the defence, and ended the game with the ultimate mate. This time you need to do it once again by breaking down Black's defence.
The original request reads "White to move and mate in 10"; would you agree with the number of moves required?
