This is one possible opening line from a well known opening. Black has just captured the third pawn, challenging white to do something about it. Your tasks:
a) Name the opening
b) Decide who stands better and why?
c) White to move and take advantage of the position it has

Total available points for this puzzle is 25. The answers will be published next time together with puzzle #356.

Puzzle #354 solution:
Opening theory. This week's best answers are by the top three scorers:
a) The opening name is Evans Gambit, being invented in the 1820s by Captain William Davies Evans. It also is white's most direct attacking line in the Giuoco Piano. The first 3 moves are Giuoco Piano (Italian Opening), then 4. b4 ... turns it into Evans Gambit. White sacrifices a pawn = gambit
b) White attacks the dark squares Bishop with tempo. The intention is to occupy the center, develop and castle fast and catch the black King in the center with a quick attack. One of the important targets is the f7-weak spot. One other important aspect is playing Bc1-a3 to stop black from castling
